how do i know which stock rom to use when i cant turn the phone on to find out?

    • RohanKandwal

You don’t know you device model? (pretty strange) Anyhow, pull out your battery and you will find a sticker where you can see your device’s model. Also if you have the box in which your mobile came then you can see sticker on that, it also contains model number.

where can the “PIT” file for I9505 Brazil (ZTA)? Tks!

onde consigo o arquivo “PIT ” para I9505 do Brasil (ZTA) ? Tks!

    • RohanKandwal

PIT file is same for all the regions of a device model. Just make sure that you are indeed using I9505 and download the PIT file for I9505 and ROM for your own region.

    Obrigado pela Ajuda !!!

    ===============================================================

    Hello, thanks for the feedback.

My daughter has a GT-I9505 and accepted the update provided by mobile carrier Claro (ZTA) after this update 4.4.2 Kit Kat can not charge the battery.

In the settings option missing battery and connect the charger, the message “Battery Disconnected” appears and does not load or connected or disconnected, nor Download mode and not in Bootloader.

The PC does not recognize the device to connect to Kies, Odin recognizes only.

I have already installed all the available Roms 4.2.2 (gave error), 4.3, 4.4.2 (ZTO and ZTA) and even 4.4.4 Google and nothing makes Blessed is working. I’ve done Wipe with CWM, done Rot, and everything I read on the Net, so lack opening the device, which I believe does not do any good since the problem is software and not hardware.

The battery / charger and cables have been tested on another device and function normally.

Is there any way to reinstall the drivers that manage battery or tamper with the BIOS of the device? Has anyone found a solution for this? Mine is not the first to have this kind of problem after update so I searched the Net, but saw no solution.

You can tell me if installing the “PIT”, “CCC”, “BL” and “CP” in Odin files solve again? Where I find them?

    Thank you for your help!

This seems likely to be a hardware problem than a software one. If you have wiped, rooted and installed various ROMS on your device then the only possible explanation is hardware problem.

Surely, you can try flashing your device with the pit and ROM provided for your model, in my post. But I don’t think that will help you much. I think that your charging pins have gone faulty. If you have warranty, then I would suggest you to revert to stock ROM and return your device for warranty.

      Suggestions from Google:-
If your device isn’t under warranty then you could try to insert a bit of paper between your device and battery so that the pins of phone are tightly connected to your device.

Some Note users suggest that banging the device hard also resolved the issue http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-note/186573-battery-disconnected-warning.html

P.S. Is the battery charging at all? I think you used Google translate to translate to English, so somethings are not clear. Do you want to say that battery charging is not showing at all? Even while phone is switched off? Although I must tell you that battery charging doesn’t show in Download or Recovery mode.

P.P.S- In Android we have bootloader instead of BIOS

If you are really sure that it isn’t a hardware problem then flash your device with stock ROM and PIT file. If still you have same problem then you must consider the possibility of an hardware issue.

  • Lucio

hello, you’re right, the problem is hardware.

Thanks for commenting back and providing a video. It’s strange that many time these hardware problems occur while either they are idle or updating. Anyhow, I’m glad that you figure out your problem.

After replacing the part, tell you if it worked!
