I have an AT&T htc one m7 and I was rooted and a friend attempted to return it to stock and in doing so, he completely bricked the phone. I had TWRP previously installed, however, that is now removed and there is no OS installed. I can get into HBOOT but that is the extent of it. There is no revoery intstalled and no OS. Screen showsows:
    HBOOT 1.56
I have tried downloading the RUU file and have triple checked to make sure it is the right one and I have downloaded it from several sources and every time I open it, it goes through the setup process, I check the license agreement and click next, and the RUU closes and stops running. I have tried this on two computers to no avail. I have tried multiple usb cords, different usb ports, and have the correct drivers installsed. Any ideas on what could fix this?
